My Q & A feature in The Luxury Network Magazine -
The Art of Tailored Travel
I was honoured to be featured in the latest issue of The Luxury Network Magazine in a Q & A interview titled The Art of Tailored Travel. It was a chance to reflect on how luxury travel has evolved — and why thoughtful, tailored journeys matter more than ever.
You can read the full interview in Issue 52, with the article starting on page 85, via the link below:
How I define luxury today
For me, luxury travel is no longer about ticking boxes or following trends. It’s about access, depth, and intention. It’s about creating journeys that feel genuinely personal — whether that’s an expedition to Antarctica, a remote safari, or a culturally immersive experience designed at just the right pace.
Answering the questions I’m asked most
In the interview, I also cover a series of frequently asked questions — the ones I hear every week from clients. Questions like Where should I go next? When is the best time to book? What really defines luxury travel today? and what’s the value of working with a professional travel advisor?
These FAQs form the foundation of how I work: listening first, understanding travel style and priorities, and then guiding clients with clarity and confidence.
Why expertise matters
With so much information available online, travel planning can feel overwhelming. My role is to simplify that process, drawing on decades of experience, trusted global partnerships, and our Virtuoso connections to design journeys that are seamless, enriching, and often enhanced with exclusive benefits clients wouldn’t otherwise access.
A proud moment
Being featured in The Luxury Network Magazine was a proud moment and a reflection of what we stand for at The Private Travel Company — trusted advice, considered planning, and travel that is never one-size-fits-all.

If you’re curious about what tailored travel could look like for you, I’d love to start that conversation and design something truly personal.
Kerry
